「Chaos Esports Club」が新型コロナウイルスの影響を受けsmooyaをリリースしたことを発表しています。

Today we are releasing @smooyacs. The ongoing pandemic has postponed his visa interview indefinitely therefore he is unable to compete with the team in the US

今月21日、ChaosはVISA問題のためイギリスに帰国したsmooyaをベンチに入れ、新たにVoltageをラインナップに追加したことを発表しましたが、現在全世界で拡大を広げる新型コロナウイルスの影響を受けsmooyaのVISA取得の期間が無期限に延期、そのためチームはsmooyaをリリースしたことを発表しています。

現在、イギリスで新型コロナウイルスの影響を受けロックダウンを実施、ロックダウンの期間も未定

現在21歳のイギリスのプレイヤーsmooyaは今年1月にChaosに加入、加入後は高いスコアを維持し続けチームの勝利に大きく貢献しましたが、苦渋の決断でリリースといった結果となりました。

smooyaは自身のTwitterでフリーエージェントになったことを明かし、今後はストリーミングを中心に活動する意向を発表しています。

Due to COVID-19 I’ve been permanently removed from the @ChaosEC roster meaning I’m a free agent. Sucks to lose a job because of the virus but it’s how it is sometimes ladies and gentlemen. I’ll be streaming most days and looking to mix/fill for anybody if needed! 🥰
