HLTVスタッフが2020年トップ20圏外のプレイヤーを発表

HLTVの最高執行責任者を務めるTgwri1sが自身のTwitterで、2020年の年間トッププレイヤーランキング20位圏外のプレイヤーを発表しています。

発表されたランキング圏外のプレイヤーは以下の通り。21位にLiquid所属のNAF、22位にOG所属のmantuuがランクインしており、XANTARES、Xyp9x、shox、k0nfigといった2020年に活躍を広げたプレイヤーは20位圏外となっています。

また、ユーザーより寄せられたVirtus.pro、Spirit、GambitなどCIS圏のチームで好成績を収めたプレイヤーがランクインしていない理由として、「トップレベルの大会でのプレイが少なかったため、TOP20に入るまでに至りませんでした。しかし、TOP40のランキングを作るとしたら、最低条件が変わるため、Jame、mirはそこに入っていたかもしれません。」と回答しています。

As they didn't play enough in the biggest events, they weren't really in contention for the top20, but if we were making a top40 the minimum requirements would have been different for lower spots so maybe Jame and mir would have been in there, but I can't say for certain
